Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 *Has been Cancelled* Fund Raiser: Birmingham Marching Band Invitational Description: Prepare to be dazzled by the talents and expertise of local high school marching bands! This is an evening you won’t want to miss. Bring the whole family. Our largest annual fundraising event, sponsored by the Groves Band Boosters, promises to entertain audiences with a myriad of wonderful music as well as creative marching formations in a friendly competitive spirit. You will be awestruck by the musical talents and diversity of these fine high school musicians. Bands will be judged on a set of predetermined criteria. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the unique styles of these bands for yourself. (DVD recordings of this event can be ordered from The Daniels Group by downloading this order form.) History: For the past fourteen years, high school marching bands from around the Metro Detroit area perform for over a thousand spectators in Falcon Stadium. Each year 5-7 bands perform a variety music, marching and dance routines. Local High School Marching Bands and Directors that have participated are:
