Que: What does it mean when I see a word underlined or in a different color on a webpage? Ans: We are trying to draw your attention to that certain word or phrase. The special text used on webpages also allows us to add special features to words. This is called a “link” or “hotlink” to some other page or document. Moving your cursor over that word and clicking will activate that special feature. We have given you an example in the opening paragraph above - Webmaster. CLICK HERE. As you move your cursor over the text, notice how your cursor changes. On the Groves Band webpage, you will be taken to another webpage, display a document or open a new email message. |
