Parent volunteers are essential to the success of the Band Program. We need your help! The following are immediate volunteer opportunities:

Booster Chair Positions: The following positions are filled by parent volunteers. The term is for one year but we prefer more than one to add stability. Most of these chair positions need additional support, so contact one of the chair persons. Also consider shadowing one  of the chairs to learn what is expected and what new things you can bring to the organization. Talk to us at the Booster meetings. Click here for the current list.

  • Photographer - Open
  • Entertainment Books - Open
  • Sally Foster Gift Wrap - Open
  • Publicity - Filled
  • Marching Band Invitational - Need Co-Chair
  • Football Game Refreshments - Open
  • Band Camp Coordinator - Open
  • Webmaster - Filled
  • Uniforms - Need Co-Chair

Event Volunteers: Mr. Z creates a wonderful curriculum filled with many opportunities for our children to enjoy. Many of these events need support not only from the chair positions listed above but depend heavily on parent volunteers. Please consider volunteering for each of the events listed below by contacting the booster chairs listed under Contacts.

  • Band Camp (4 Parents)
  • Birmingham Marching Band Invitational (80 Parents)
  • Football Game Refreshments (2 Parents to organize - Snack Donation from 1/4 of Band)
  • Band Trip Chaperones (20-30 Parents)
